Diane Jenkins is on a Genoa City-wide tour to convince the people of The Young and the Restless that she is a new woman. She’s no longer blackmailing, or manipulating, or sperm-stealing.

Y&R: Fake It Till You Make It
It’s all an act, 77% of you dismiss it. Diane (Susan Walters) obviously has something devious in mind and pretends to care about Kyle (Michael Mealor), Summer (Allison Lanier), and Harrison (Kellen Enriquez) in order to further her agenda. Maybe she wants Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back. Maybe she wants to steal Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) away from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). The point is, she’s still the same schemer she always was. She will never, ever change.
The Young and the Restless: Half and Half
Why not both, 20% of the audience shrugs. Why can’t Diane be a devoted mother to Kyle – which she was when he was a child – and still a schemer where the Abbotts and Newmans are concerned. The fact is, before Diane turned her ire on Victor and Jack, both men treated her like disposable dirt. She has every right to be angry and to act on it… as long as Kyle and Harrison aren’t caught in the crossfire.

Y&R: Better Living Through Therapy
Diane says she’s been through grueling therapy and come out of it a better person, and 3% of voters believe her. If Jack can from philanderer to near monk, if Victor can go from a guy who locks enemies up in basements to the moral compass of Genoa City, if Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) can go from attempted murderer to mere hysteric, why can’t Diane have grown, too?
