Sharon and Nick are back together on The Young and the Restless (YR)!
Victor (Eric Braeden) faked being supportive – but that was just a plot to pull Nick (Joshua Morrow) into yet another power struggle with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) worried that it would lead to Sharon (Sharon Case) spilling about JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was worried her mom would get hurt again, and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is really tired of the endless push-pull.
But how do fans feel about this umpteenth recoupling? Here’s what over 3,000 had to say about it:
Been There, Done That?
Again, 54% of you roll your eyes to the heavens and whine, stomping your foot. How many times is Y&R going to keep going back to this well?
Nick and Sharon had their shot. They blew it. Watching them blow it again – even if it’s in a slightly different way – should be in no way considered entertaining. In fact, it’s downright boring, and you wish it hadn’t happened.
Noah (Robert Adamson) may not be in town to deal with the fallout anymore, but you know Faith will insist on her displeasure being listened to and indulged.
Plus, poor Christian will be stuck in the middle. And you know Victor will take advantage of any schism to get his grandson into his orbit for good.
Good, Soapy Fun
Victor made it clear he has no qualms about using Sharon’s past against her in order to reclaim Christian, and 46% of the audience can’t wait for the ride to begin. Will Sharon strike back by pulling out the secret intel she’s got on Nikki and Victoria?
Will Victor be so obsessed with reclaiming Christian he’d risk his wife and daughter being sent to jail for murder? Nick and Sharon’s reunion is bigger than just the two of them rolling around in the sack, it’s the beginning of a huge, Newman family umbrella story!
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
