Moving On Out: Should Sharon and Nick Leave the Ranch on The Young and the Restless?

Nick wants a new start on The Young and the Restless (YR). Sure, marrying Sharon again isn’t exactly new.

But, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has left Newman Enterprises, started his own company, said mean things to Victor (Eric Braeden), and now he wants to make like a big boy and actually get a house for his family that isn’t on his Daddy’s property!

Sharon isn’t thrilled with the idea, but is willing to go along, for Nick’s say. But what do fans think? Here’s how over 3.000 of you played real-estate agent:

Clean Break
It’s about time, 86% of you cheer! It’s been tough believing Nick is the strong, independent man he claims he is, when he – or at least, his kids – continue living on Newman grounds.

Sure, the house is technically Sharon’s. A gift from Nick. That he got from Victor. Not exactly the definition of standing on your own two feet.

If this family wants a fresh start, they need to move on. And they need to put enough room between them and Victor to make him snatching Christian again impossible.

Stay Put
Free rent is free rent, a more practical 14% of the audience reminds. Especially when you don’t know how your new company will do — and you gave away your $500 million dollar trust fund.

And, oh, yeah, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) loves her horseys. Just imagine the whining you’ll have to deal with if you move.

She might run away again and insist on living with Grandpa. And Grandpa might convince her to take Christian with her. Keep your friends close… and your enemies closer, Nick.

Or You Could…
A tiny handful is rooting for Nick and Sharon to break up for good. That will solve the house-moving problem once and for all. One voter, however, knows they’ll just get back together again… same as Nick’s parents….
