Hilary Curtis has left the building. Her portrayer, Mishael Morgan, has tweeted out that she taped her last episode at The Young and the Restless.
The Emmy-nominated actress posted on social media on Wednesday, June 27 that she had wrapped up at Y&R.
The sentimental actress posted a photo of CBS that she took on her first day of work five years ago alongside a gathering of Y&R cast and personnel who gathered at a local eatery to wish Morgan well on her last day at work.
Actors who showed up at Morgan’s farewell party include Peter Bergman (Jack), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Sharon Case (Sharon), Daniel Goddard (Cane), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), and Kate Linder (Esther).
“Thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey,” Morgan posted. “On to the next adventure!”
There’s no word on how Hilary will exit the canvas. There’s been no word of Y&R attempting to recast the fan favorite so it’s likely that one way or another Hilary will leave town.
Will it be a permanent exit or will the show leave the door open for her possible return? The actress’ fans are hoping that she’ll be back someday to reunite with Devon! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
…and that’s a wrap. Just over five years ago, I tweeted a pic of CBS to announce the start of my journey on Y&R. Now, I have to say good bye. Sooo bittersweet. Thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey. On to the next adventure! #YR #goodbye #lastday pic.twitter.com/esaGAgl14Q
