Apparently, Hevon can wait! There’s been a dramatic development with Mishael Morgan whose character Hilary died on-screen last year on The Young and the Restless!
Morgan said she loved her time on YR and would be open to someday returning. Apparently, now that day has happened! The actress appeared briefly in the Wednesday, May 1 episode when widower Devon (Bryton James) was on a date with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). As she was laughing, Devon imagined he was watching Hilary.
The actress reprised her role for this scene and the question is: will she be back for more? A spokesperson for The Young and the Restless confirms to Soaps In Depth that Morgan will indeed be back for more shows, but she is not returning in any full-time capacity.
Will seeing Hilary help Devon move on with his life — or will her spiritual presence prevent him from committing elsewhere?
Morgan also appeared as herself on Monday talking about the late Kristoff St. John, in an hour dedicated to the actor after his passing in February. She exited the soap last year when Hilary and her unborn child were killed in a horrific car crash.
The actress is also up for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress at the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
