A vocal group of fans have been clamoring for Michael Muhney to get back to work. Ideally, they’d like to see him back as Adam on The Young and the Restless.
However, that’s not happening, but the Emmy-nominated Muhney has booked a new role. He’s currently in Canada filming a part in the new fall ABC series The Good Doctor.
The Doctor Is In
No word on who Muhney will be playing on his episode of The Good Doctor, but the actor broke the news that he’d landed the gig on his social media account.
And he’s already got one viewer lined up to see his appearance on the show — Muhney’s daughter Ella put a secret surprise inside her dad’s luggage to let him know how happy she is that he’s working.
The drama, which debuts on Monday, September 25 at 10 p.m., stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young pediatric surgeon on the Autism spectrum.
