Summer just thinks she’s so adorable on The Young and the Restless. The idea that any man she wants might not instantly fall for her charms is truly beyond her comprehension.
And, the man she currently wants is Billy (Jason Thompson). The fact that he’s her mother’s boyfriend is just icing on the tainted cake.
Summer has been throwing herself at Billy to the point of kissing him. While they were both at work. He’s told her no dozens of times. She declined to take that for an answer. Is that not the definition of sexual harassment? Over 6,000 fans took a vote on it.
No Question
Summer is a predator, 98% of you don’t have so much as a shadow of a doubt about that. She’s been invading Billy’s personal space, touching him when he has repeatedly told her to lay off, and acting unprofessionally in a place of business.
Just because Summer is younger and a woman doesn’t make any of it OK and, frankly, you find the entire exhibition gross to watch.
Reasonable Doubt
A tiny 2% begs to differ, however. You believe sexual harassment is about power, and Summer has no power over Billy. He’s the one in charge at work, and he could have told Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about her actions at any time, nipping Summer’s ambitions in the bud.
That he didn’t is on him, not Summer. She’s an immature, annoying kid, sure, but it’s not sexual harassment. It’s just bad manners.
And Then
Another 11 people would like to make it clear that they believe Summer is a slimy slut who crossed way too many lines long ago, and she deserves to be charged — as well as written out of Genoa City.
