The wardrobe department on The Young and the Restless (YR) keeps the women of Genoa City looking stylish, sleek, and sophisticated. However, Melissa Claire Egan proved that all is not what it seems behind the scenes of the CBS daytime drama!

In fact, at times, the cast and their stylists resort to using some smoke and mirrors just like any of us might do from time to time.

With an absolutely hilarious Instagram post, the actress, who portrays clothing designer Chelsea on the soap, revealed some of the deepest, darkest secret tricks of the trade! The secret was so well-kept that in a second picture Sharon Case (Sharon) photobombed looking awfully mad that her co-star let the cat out of the bag.

Will it start a real-life feud? Probably not, but it certainly is amusing to see that when Egan’s skirt didn’t fit, the wardrobe department simply layered shirts over it to cover up the situation. Tell us you haven’t done the same in a pinch…
