Y&R star Melissa Claire Egan gave a behind-the-scenes look at the set's Christmas decorations.
The Young and the Restless tapes six weeks in advance. Although it’s fall where most people live, in Genoa City, winter has come. Y&R’s cast and crew are prepping for the upcoming Christmas episodes, and Melissa Claire Egan gave a sneak peek of this year’s decorations.
Y&R goes when decorating for the holidays, and if Egan’s post is any indication, it’ll be a bright and beautiful Christmas. The actress posted an Instagram story on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, giving fans a glimpse of the holiday decor.
Egan posted a video as she headed to the Society set for filming. Outside the Genoa City restaurant, fake snow lined the sidewalk, while wreaths and lighted stars hung on the doors and windows. Inside, the decor was just as spectacular. Silver Christmas trees were adorned with pink and white ornaments, which were the eyecatchers. Green garlands with pink, silver, and gold balls lined the lounge and bar area.
The decor was a pretty sight and is already a hit with Egan. “LOVE Christmas in Genoa City!!!” the actress captioned the video with an aww emoji along with red and green hearts.
