We think the last time Esther Valentine went on a date on The Young and the Restless, she ended up pregnant with Chloe Mitchell Fisher. Well, now Chloe has children of her own. And Esther is finally ready to get back into circulation.

The dude looks pretty cool, 63% of you concede, and the bit about being Marketing Director of Esther’s (Kate Linder) favorite cleaning product is cute. He seems nice. And sincere. But Esther has absolutely terrible judgment, so if we’re seeing him through her eyes, odds are we’re not getting the complete picture. Esther may have told Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson) to quit watching her from behind a pole. But we’re not so sure Chloe is in the wrong here.
The Young and the Restless Numbers Game
Esther has kissed an awful lot of frogs, she’s due a prince, 27% of the audience is hoping. Think of how many weddings she’s planned for other people — Kay Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill Foster (Jess Walton), primarily — without getting the chance to play blushing bride herself. The universe owes here. Let’s just hope the dating app she used is also on board.

Blind Faith
It can’t all be the men’s fault, 10% of voters reason. Esther has to be at least partially to blame for some of those relationships going bad — it does take two to tango, after all. Sure, they may not have all been Prince Charmings, but were all of them villains? Or does Esther have some unreasonable demands…not to mention flaws of her own, which make a good love story impossible?
