Lost In Love: Does Mariah Need A Steady Relationship On The Young and the Restless?

Life has never gone easy on The Young and the Restless’ (YR) Mariah. She was kidnapped at birth, raised in a cult, and learned she had a twin sister after said sister was already dead.

She had some pretty crappy relationships with men, Devon (Bryton James) being just the latest. And then she fell in love with a woman, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

Said woman turned Mariah (Camryn Grimes), which she had every right to do. And then she stole lines from Mariah’s journal, writing about her feelings, to incorporate into a song. Which she had absolutely no right to do.

Recently, Mariah and Tess looked like they were inching back towards each other. They went on a date! They kissed! And then, wouldn’t you know it, the words “sex traffic ring” reared their ugly heads again, and Tess had to rush off to tend to her sister, Crystal, in witness protection.

Tessa promised to come back to Mariah. Except, the last time they talked on the phone, Mariah overheard some kind of disturbance. Is Tessa toast?
