Vic Chip: Should Nick Be More Like His Dad on The Young and the Restless (YR)?

That was quite the plot twist on The Young and the Restless (YR), when the presumed-dead JT pulled off his mask… to reveal Nick (Joshua Morrow)!

Nick was the one responsible for hacking into Newman Enterprises files. He was the one who leaked the news about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) health, and he’s the one who picked up the clients who went running from Newman as a result. Neil (Kristoff St. John) did it, too, and Victor was less than pleased.

He was even more displeased about Nick, his Dark Horse, and Abby (Melissa Ordway) leaving to work for her brother. Jack (Peter Bergman) joining Nick’s company, Victor just laughed off.

Sharon (Sharon Case) wasn’t laughing about any of it, but she did agree to marry Nick. Even as she worried he’d changed too much.

Noooooooooooo, 81% of you sob, not our sweet Nick! Nick is supposed to be the good, male Newman. He’s supposed to set a good example for the next generation. And he’s supposed to make Victor look worse in comparison.

If Nick stoops to Victor’s level, how will you be able to pick sides? That seems to be Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) biggest worry.

Victor should just keep dishing it out, and Nick should keep taking it with a smile. Why change what’s been working for decades?
