Victoria recently gave an update on how Reed is doing away at school on The Young and the Restless (YR), and now here’s one on his portrayer.
It wasn’t too long ago that Tristan Lake Leabu left the show, but he certainly hasn’t let that stop him. The young actor/musician has been keeping busy since leaving the popular soap.
He was recently spotted in a commercial for the drug, HUMIRA, in which he can be seen as a musician in a band that is performing onstage.
That’s not all — the handsome young actor is also shooting a movie! It’s called The F* It List and it stars a few familiar faces like Jerry O’Connell, who has been in so many things but may be best known from when he was a child star in the film Stand By Me.
Also appearing in the film is Natalie Zea, who played Gwen on Passions and is married to her former co-star from that soap, Travis Schuldt. Yet another famous face in the film is Camryn Manheim, who once played Rabbi Heller on One Life to Live back in 1995.
While Leabu was on Y&R, he gained quite a following because of his sweet romance with Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson), despite the fact that his mother and her father couldn’t stand each other. It was the perfect Romeo and Juliet story for the younger set, but the show ended up ditching their romance.
Reed started acting out and it was too much for Mattie to handle. After his father, JT (Thad Luckinbill) “disappeared,” Reed went away to boarding school to avoid the pain. Who knows if the show has any plans to bring the character back but it looks like they may need to find another actor if Leabu’s career keeps taking off.
