Currently, The Young and the Restless‘ Neil is off-camera taking care of his son Moses while his ex-wife Sofia recovers from an accident. When the character returns to Genoa City he’s due for some romance! The handsome exec hasn’t had much of a love life since his disastrous marriage to Hilary.
There are a lot of women from Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) past who could fill his dance card. Which of his leading ladies would you like to see back? Soap Hub asked just this question. Read on for the results.
It Had To Be Dru
Not surprisingly, Dru, Neil’s dead (“dead?”) wife tops the list, earning over 68% (!) of your vote. The couple has a huge following because of their courtship and marriage in the ’90s. The chemistry between Victoria Rowell (ex-Dru) and St. John was off the charts as they saw each other through lots of ups and downs.
Wouldn’t it be entertaining to see Dru come up with all kinds of names for the women Neil’s been involved with since her demise?
Moses’ Mama!
Sofia came in second with over 16% of your vote. Granted, Sofia cheated on Neil with Malcolm, but if Neil can forgive Devon for being with Hilary perhaps Neil and Sofia can make a go of it.
She’s a savvy businesswoman who’d fit in with all the corporate dealings in Genoa City.
Plus, Neil and Sofia share a child. Reuniting to give Moses a stable environment isn’t the worst reason for a couple to be together.
Courting Karen
Y&R fans didn’t forget about Karen, played by Nia Peeples, who was another of Neil’s wives. (He sure did marry a lot, trying to move on from Dru we suspect!) Karen earned a little over 4% of your vote.
Karen would need to get over Neil’s infidelity with Tyra for this union to work once more. Karen’s got a savvy background as a campaign manager so we have no doubt that she’d be able to find a place to work in Genoa City even if no one is running for office!
Stay tuned to see which of these lucky ladies – or someone new — comes into Neil’s life in the coming year!
