Juliet has met with a tragic end, dying in childbirth, but her portrayer, Laur Allen, is leaving The Young and the Restless (YR) with nothing but gratitude.
The actress posted a farewell to Y&R fans on her Instagram (see below). “Thanks to the #YR fam and fans for making this experience so special,” Allen wrote.
Allen first aired on the show in February as Juliet Helton, an executive who helped Cane close a big deal in Japan for Brash & Sassy. With Cane’s help, she landed a job in Genoa City working for Victoria’s company.
She was let go shortly thereafter following a work SNAFU, which led to her suing for sexual harassment. That’s when videotape surfaced indicating Cane and Juliet had been intimate. Soon, viewers learned she was pregnant, which led to her premature labor and, untimely, her shocking passing.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
