Kola Carry: Should Kyle and Lola Have a Baby On The Young and the Restless?

Kyle and Lola have had a practically storybook romance on The Young and the Restless. Boy goes out for a sandwich. Boy meets girls who makes sandwiches. Boy falls hard for girl. Girl is a bit more cautious about Boy.

Girl is hit over the head and ends up facedown in a pool. Somehow, this prompts Girl to need a liver transplant. Boy agrees to marry Old Flame in exchange for part of her liver. Boy promises not to tell anyone about deal.

Boy promptly tells everyone. Old Flame gives Boy divorce. Boy proposes to Girl. Girl and Boy fawn over each other in public. At every opportunity. So, is ‘next comes Lola with a baby carriage’ on the agenda? The opinion from almost 17,000 fans:

Go for it, 77% cheer! It’s not like Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola have anything else of interest going on. Sure, there’s Kyle’s big secret with Theo (Tyler Johnson), and Lola’s mommy throwing a temper tantrum and refusing to come to the wedding. But does anybody really care about that?

A legitimate Abbott might make a nice change. Kyle wasn’t. Neither is Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Nor Abby (Melissa Ordway) or Keemo, who nobody remembers. Kyle and Lola can set a family record. What else do they have going for them?

They’re too young, 34% of the audience counters. At least they managed to make it to the altar. Now,  they need to process Kyle’s secret, a few misunderstandings, at least one relapse of Kyle maybe sleeping with Summer (Hunter King), and some Kyle feeling insignificant in the face of Lola’s very successful career.

Then they can think about a baby.. and who the other daddy candidate might be. Cause this is a soap. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
