Longtime fans of The Young and the Restless know there’s always been something between Jack and Nikki.
In fact, back in the ’80s, the Jack/Nikki/Victor/Ashley quadrangle was front and center in Genoa City, and fans loved it!
Now, it looks like sparks are rekindling between the former married couple in light of the kiss they shared following the benefit concert. How do Y&R fans feel about Jack and Nikki getting back together? Soap Hub polled viewers to find out!
A Kiss Is Just A Kiss
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki shared a kiss, but that smooch didn’t go over with a lot of Y&R viewers. It turns out 40% of you voted “Yuck, this needs to stop!” This contingent is likely made up of die-hard Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) fans who simply don’t want Nikki with anyone else!
Just under a third of voters (31% to be exact) voted “Way to go, Nikki!” Clearly, this group is tired of Nikki being at the whim of Victor’s affections.
When the mustached mogul wants to put Nikki down, he does. But when he wants to put her up on a pedestal and control her life, well, he does that, too! A slightly smaller percentage (29%) are in favor of adopting a “wait and see attitude.”

An Affair To Forget
Soap Hub also quizzed Y&R fans on whether or not they’d like to see Jack and Nikki take things further and have an all-out affair!
The majority of you, 59% to be exact, feel that no, they should not, saying that “No, Nikki is Victor’s soulmate!” But many of you (26%) feel that it’d be okay for Nikki to move with Jack if she and Victor were to get a divorce first.
A small minority (14%) of you feel that divorce or no, Nikki should be with Jack. Longtime fans recall that Jack first set out to seduce and marry Nikki only to hold her “hostage” as his wife since Victor had control over Jabot Cosmetics.
Along the way, Jack encountered a “problem” — he actually fell in love with his wife!
The union didn’t last, however. Nikki’s alcoholism, her lingering feelings for Victor, and the loss of her and Jack’s child shortly after birth all led to the dissolution of Jack and Nikki’s marriage. Could the couple find their way back together? Stay tuned!
