Is Judith Chapman Headed Back To The Young and the Restless?

Genoa City just isn’t the same without Hurricane Gloria in the form of Judith Chapman blowing through it and causing destruction in her wake. But a recent image on social media seems to indicate that everyone’s favorite mother (well maybe Kevin and Michael would disagree) is headed back to The Young and the Restless.

Judith Chapman Returning?

The character returned ever so briefly not too long ago, exchanged barbs with her family, dropped off a mysterious flash drive in a not-easy-to-find hideaway, and poof! She was gone just as quickly. But now an image shared by onscreen daughter-in-law Tracey Bregman (Lauren) in her Instagram Story seems to be hinting at a very welcomed return.

“Anyone hear there’s a storm coming #hurricaneGloria,” she wrote, while also tagging Judith Chapman’s Instagram handle, @real_jchapman, underneath. Well, we’ve heard it now! And it makes perfect sense considering Gloria’s son Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and his wife Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have come across the flash drive, discovered her picture on it, and know she has encrypted files having to do with Newman Enterprises on it and it involves millions!

All those things added up certainly spell trouble, so of course, those two will certainly not let this slide. So do they summon Gloria (do they even know how to find her?) back to Genoa City or will she be tipped off to their snooping and head back simply to send them off another wild goose chase?

Either way, the thought of Gloria being back in town and up to no good is certainly great news for fans who have missed the scheming matriarch. While Glo may not have been the best mother to Kevin and Michael (Christian Le Blanc), she is certainly highly entertaining and there’s rarely a dull moment when she’s around. We can’t wait!
