Who’s The Daddy? Is It Truly Cane On The Young and the Restless (YR)?

It’s a tradition in soaps that couples torn apart by outside forces eventually find their way back to one another. So while Cane and Lily are on the outs now on The Young and the Restless, it’s not going to be forever!

This isn’t to say things aren’t bad. Cane (Daniel Goddard) destroyed the trust in his marriage to Lily (Christel Khalil) by sleeping with Juliet (Laur Allen).

The best way to reunite the Ashbys would be if it were revealed that Cane’s not the baby daddy to Juliet’s unborn child. But, do you believe that’s going to happen?

Soap Hub asked what you think of this possibility.

Stay Away From Juliet
The majority of you, 76%, subscribe to the feeling that — despite a DNA test saying otherwise — Cane is not the father of Juliet’s baby because viewers never saw them having sex — just Juliet starting the walk of shame down the hallway as she left his hotel room in the wee hours of the morning.

This will come out of left field if Y&R negates the DNA test. After all, it’s not like we’ve seen a candy striper with an ax to grind against the Ashbys tinkering at the computer in the hospital.

Cane Is Able
A small number of voters, 8%, agree that Cane’s the dad since we haven’t seen any DNA test manipulation. You’re living in reality. You may want Cane and Lily back together, but you’re not ignoring the facts.

The rest of you, 16%, feel that this could go either way. While Juliet’s not acting as if Cane isn’t  the dad, maybe there’s something going on that we don’t know about yet.

That something could help pave the way for a Cane and Lily reunion! After all, we know it’s inevitable! We just don’t know how or when it’s going to occur!
