Chelsea may seem helpless on The Young and the Restless, but that is just a temporary state. She may be mute and paralyzed now.
But Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is never down for long. We’ve been privy to her thoughts, and just how angry she is at Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sharon (Sharon Case). Will her currently suppressed rage turn to unsuppressed violence as soon as she’s back on her feet? What almost 3,000 prognosticators expect to see happen:
Almost exactly half of you, 49%, don’t think Chelsea needs to resort to violence. Not when she is an experienced and successful con artist. Chelsea doesn’t need to pick up a gun or get behind the wheel of a car. She can play with people’s minds to the point where neither Adam nor Sharon will ever know what hit them. And then she’ll be able to deny the whole thing.
A smaller percentage of the audience, 44%, doesn’t agree. You think Chelsea will definitely explode, and that she’ll aim straight at Sharon. The woman has a piece of Adam’s heart Chelsea will never be able to access, and now she’s playing therapist for her! Sharon is always acting so high and mighty and superior to everybody else. Let’s see how superior she can be to a baseball bat to the head.
Only 7% think that Adam will be Chelsea’s target. Her injury is his fault, after all, and he’s the one who pulled Sharon back into their orbit. The best part about Chelsea’s current condition is that she seems absolutely harmless. But what if she recovers… without bothering to mention it to anyone.
She can then get back at Adam and have the best alibi. She can’t move! How could she have been the one to finally bring him down? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
