The Young And The Restless’ Melissa Claire Egan Celebrates A Very Special Milestone!

Chelsea hasn’t had a ton to celebrate on The Young and the Restless of late given that she’s lost her true love Adam and is carrying around the secret that Nick’s son Christian is really his brother’s child.

But, off-screen, Chelsea’s portrayer, Melissa Claire Egan, is celebrating her birthday today! She was born in Pound Ridge, NY on September 28, 1981.

The actress came onto the soap scene in 2006 as All My Children’s Annie Novack, who went from heroine to whack job during her run in Pine Valley.

She was one of many soap vets who popped up on Y&R in 2011, but the difference is Egan’s character has stuck!

Y&R paired her with Billy before she moved onto a complicated relationship with Adam. After he presumably perished in a cabin explosion, Chelsea grieved before slowly opening up her heart to Nick, who was recovering himself from losing Sage.

While she’s played Chelsea much longer than she ever portrayed Annie, the actress still has pals from her days on the now defunct New York based soap including Chrishell Stause (ex-Amanda, AMC). The two are often seen out on the town courtesy of social media photos!
