Home For The Holidays? Lily’s Fate On The Young and the Restless!

Some of The Young and the Restless characters never take responsibility for any of the bad things they do.

Lily (Christel Khalil) chose to accept that she killed Hilary (Mishael Morgan) – even though she couldn’t remember it – and she accepted her punishment: A year in prison.

It was bad enough when Cane (Daniel Goddard), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) had to visit her daily behind bars. (Well, there were no bars, it was actually just a pretty boring meeting room, but bars sound better.) Then, Lily was moved to a prison too far away for daily visits.

Lily has already expressed her remorse. Is enough enough? Should she be allowed to come home? Almost 10,000 had something to say about that!

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has done some terrible things. But is she in jail? No! So has Victor (Eric Braeden)! So has Jack (Peter Bergman)! And Jill (Jess Walton) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

So why is Lily the only one being punished, 80% of the audience wants to know? She should get time off for bad behavior or a pardon from the governor or be excused on a technicality. You know, whatever it is Victor always skates on. Lily should be home for the holidays!

Just Desserts
You do the crime, you do the time, 20% shrug. Besides, as has been made clear over the past few months, no one has ever suffered from losing a loved one more than Devon (Bryton James).

His pain raises above the pain of anyone else, including, say, Esther (Kate Linder), who thinks she’s lost her daughter, or Neil (Kristoff St. John), who lost Dru, or Nate (Brooks Darnell) and his fiancée.

The loss of Hilary by Devon is the greatest injustice of all time, and Lily must be made to pay accordingly.
