Holidays are a wonderful time to reunite families, and The Young and the Restless has so much to celebrate these days. Who should come home before the end of the year?
The Young and the Restless Polling: Danny Boy
Almost one half of you, 45%, would like to see Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) ex-husband, Danny (Michael Damian) return. Not only could he be an interesting thorn in the side of Phyllis and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) stormy relationship, but there is also Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) relationship to meddle in. Danny is Chris’s ex, too! Oh, and if Nina (Tricia Cast) should choose to stick around town…
Prodigal Son
Phillip III may be the father of Nina’s son, Chance (Justin Gaston), but they’re now a non-starter. We’re not really sure who Phillip would date in Genoa City, 40% of the audience admits, but we think we need more Chancellors, now that Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) is gone. Maybe he’ll even convince Jill (Jess Walton) to stay!
Four Square
A last-place 15% of The Young and the Restless voters picked the Brooks sisters, but there are four of them! Lori has a past with Victor (Eric Braeden). She left him at the altar. And you know how he hates to come out the loser in anything. Leslie could make an interesting love interest for Jack (Peter Bergman).
Chris Brooks was once married to Jill’s brother, Snapper (that’s David Hasselhoff, to you), and her daughter, Jennifer, is Jill’s niece, not to mention Billy’s (Jason Thompson) cousin. And then there’s Peggy! (This is just like Hamilton, only with one extra sister!) She doesn’t have any connections left in Genoa City. But that doesn’t mean she can’t make some.
The Brooks girls are a core family – we met them in the first episode that was rerun this summer. Let’s put them front and center once again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
