While everyone seemed enthralled by the new doctor, Hilary felt differently.

Certain Nate was hiding something, the curious woman tried to pry the information from him. When Nate resisted and lashed at her, Shauna was there to defend Hilary.

Frustrated, Nate stormed off and Neil put Hilary in her place – Nate was mourning the love of his life. And, today was the one-year anniversary of her death. Stunned and beyond embarrassed, Hilary left the party.

Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Summer (Hunter King) decided to partner up and be gambling buddies. Unsurprisingly, hours later and lots of money lost, the pair must now figure out how to rescue themselves from another pitfall.

Back at the Abbott house, the dry run is underway. Ashley and Kyle watch on as Jack bombarded Dina with questions. To their amazement, Dina made it through the questions and named Philip as Jack’s father once again.

Jack was thrilled. Dina seemed fit to testify, and a stunned Ashley agreed. He wanted to keep asking her questions, but Ashley stopped her brother and insisted Dina needed a break.

Kyle took his ailing grandmother back to her room while Jack and Ashley discussed the next steps for her.

Sadly, a few moments later, Dina appeared back in the living room. Completely disoriented, terrified and incoherent, It was a heartbreaking moment and everyone realized she was in fact, very sick and could not testify, ever.

Watching his mother suffer moved Jack to make a startling decision about his paternity case.
