Has Hilary Changed? And Is It For the Better?

On The Young and the Restless, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) didn’t just shock Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon (Bryton James) when she confessed – live on the air – that had Hilary had been responsible for Mariah’a fall earlier, but all the YR fans watching at home, too.

Since she did it, this time, without being tricked into the confession, it lead to speculation that Genoa City’s unrepentant bad girl might have changed her spots. But has she, really? Over 6000 of you have your doubts.

Say It Loud and Say It Proud
It’s rare that voters speak with one voice, but what else do you call it when a nearly unanimous 98% of you all but broke your keyboards screaming, “NO!” to the question of whether or not Hilary has changed.

Obviously, it was all just a ploy to make others think that she had. Namely, others like Mariah, who has been hoisted upon Hilary as a co-host. Others like Neil (Kristoff St. John), who basically just hates her across the board and, most importantly, others like Devon who, most likely, still has feelings for his estranged wife.

All he needs is a reminder of how awesome she is… or could be. Hilary knew Devon would be watching, and she knows he’s – there’s no nice way to put this – a sucker. You’re all convinced this is just another ploy for Hilary to get her hooks back into her good-looking, rich, gullible husband.

Give Peace a Chance
Ad then, just to prove that absolutely nothing on soaps (or in real life) is a completely cut and dried issue, there are the 2% of you willing to give Hilary the benefit of the doubt. You believe that she has changed. Of course, you didn’t indicate if you thought it was for the better…. Maybe her confession is just the start of something even more horrible….
