Did you know that one of these “The Young and the Restless” stars (Eric Braeden, Peter Bergman, or Doug Davidson) was quite the athlete in his younger years? In fact, this guy even won a Track and Field Scholarship for college. Do you think you know which star it is? If not, read on to find out the answer.
First off, we have fan favorite Eric Braeden. His portrayal of Victor through the years has garnered jeers for his character, but approval from his fans. Braeden immigrated to USA from Germany in 1959 when he was in his late teens. And, he is the one who won a Track and Field Scholarship to the University of Montana, Missoula. He specialized in the following events: discus, javelin, and shotput.
Secondly, we have Peter Bergman. Even though we now know who was the Track and Field Scholarship recipient, here’s some fun facts about Bergman. His father was a United States Navy officer, and Bergman was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Finally, we have Doug Davidson. He was born in Glendale, California and has hosted numerous events such as the Tournament of Roses Parade. He enjoys being outdoors and in the water. Some of Davidson’s hobbies include sailing, scuba diving, and water skiing.
