For now, Abby thinks she knows who she wants her surrogate to be on The Young and the Restless, but who should be the lucky incubator? Where almost 2,000 voters stand:
Considering all the chats they’ve been having and all the hand-wringing she’s been doing about how much she wishes she could help Abby (Melissa Ordway), is it any wonder a majority 75% of you pointed the finger at Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Heck, Abby did.
Considering she was stolen from her own birth mother and raised in a cult, you’d think Mariah would be a bit more sensitive to the whole issue of babies being swapped around like commodities. But, then again, the story says…
A much smaller 13% of the audience suggested Lola (Sasha Calle). Likely because she already works for Abby. And she hasn’t had a story since Kyle (Michael Mealor) had his great Summer (Hunter King) epiphany. We can’t think of any reason why Lola should need to do this: She doesn’t need money. She has a very stressful job. She has plenty of time to have children of her own, should she want them. She and Abby are friends, but not particularly close ones. Then again, the story says…
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) makes a lot more sense to a family-oriented 9%. The baby would be her grandchild, so it’s not like she’d be cut out of its life. Genetically speaking, she’s a great match for Abby, and this is the kind of favor you ask your mother to do, not a random pal.
And then there’s the last place 3% who voted for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). She’s got a busy touring career, no urge to carry a child, and is in a committed relationship. But she also doesn’t have a story, either, so…The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
