Fixing Tessa’s Messas: Can She Be Redeemed on The Young and the Restless?

When Tessa first arrived on The Young and the Restless, she seemed shifty.

She conned Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) into giving her a place to live, then she moved onto Noah (Robert Adamson). There was that mess with her oft-invoked sister, then she stole Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) song.

But now comes the crowning blow – Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is the one who’s been blackmailing Nikki, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Sharon (Sharon Case) – while also taking Sharon’s money at Crimson Lights and letting Nick (Joshua Morrow) bend the rules to get her a below market price apartment.

Mariah agreed to pretend to still love Tessa and give her a chance to make all the above up to her – if Tessa agreed to turn over all the evidence she had against the women. Tessa swore she would… then hid some money… and a backup flash drive in a teddy bear.

So Tessa is still up to her old tricks. Can she ever be redeemed? Here’s what almost 10,000 think!

Three Strikes And You’re Out
Too little, too late – and insincere to boot, 84% of you dismiss. Tessa has blown through all of her chances, and no one with half a brain should even think about giving her another one.

She has obviously been in this for the money from the start. Sure, she had to save Crystal. But Crystal has now been saved. And the money Tessa extorted was a heck of a lot more than that.

She says she loves Mariah, but Tessa has demonstrated what that’s worth. She will always be a villain in your eyes. And she should be in Mariah’s, too.

New Beginnings
Oh, why not, 16% shrug. Most of Genoa City has done things equally as bad. As long as Victor (Eric Braeden), Jack (Peter Bergman), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are newly beloved, why not Tessa?
