You do know that Joshua Morrow has played heartbreaker Nicholas Newman on “The Younger and the Restless” his entire adult life. But, here are Five Fast Facts you may not have known.

A Star is Born
Joshua Morrow was born on February 8, 1974 in Juneau, Alaska when his father was stationed there with the Coast Guard. He was raised along with his three sisters in Oklahoma and Nebraska before arriving in Southern California.

He joined “The Young and the Restless” cast in June of 1994. In 2001, he married Tobe Keeney, and they now have four kids – three sons and a daughter.

Odd Job
When he was younger, Morrow enjoyed going to camp. To help pay for it, he really put some muscle into it – and washed boats during the summer.

The Music Man
As a music lover, Morrow started a band in 1998 with former Y&R co-star/BFF Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt) and another pal, Canadian singer CJ Huyer. The band was called 3Deep, and they released two soul-pop albums. They were mostly successful in Canada (where they had a Top 10 hit), Asia, and Europe. Theirdidn’t bother to release their album in the United States, and the band split in 2001.

Let the Games Begin
An avid sportsman, Morrow enjoys working for charity while playing on celebrity basketball and softball teams. The card shark has also appeared on the World Poker Tour, as well as game shows (for charity) like “Pyramid,” “Family Feud,” and “Hollywood Squares.”

Primetime Player
In 1997, Morrow played the title role in “My Stepson, My Lover” with Rachel Ward of “The Thorn Birds” fame. While Nick seems awfully serious, the actor did a comedic turn on the sitcom “The Nanny”. In that episode, he appeared alongside fellow Y&R co-stars Peter Bergman (Jack), the late Jeanne Cooper (Kay), and Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm).

Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Additionally, for more  The Young and the Restless spoilers updates, recaps, and news, go to Soap Hub’s Facebook fanpage and join the conversation about all your favorite soaps!
