Sharon is in quite a pickle on The Young and the Restless. On the one hand, her husband, Rey is convinced that Adam tried to kill him. On the other hand, Adam swears he didn’t do it, he saved Faith from dying on the side of the road, and he begged Sharon to help him prove his innocence.
The Young and the Restless Polling
What should she do? What almost 3,000 voters told us they’d like to see happen:
Bad Betrayal
Whether or not Adam (Mark Grossman) did it (and we know he didn’t), Sharon (Sharon Case) taking his side is still letting down Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Faith, 68% of you assert. Rey has been asking her, over and over again, to prove that she is no longer connected to Adam in any way. And she has promised to do it. Right after she helps him out with just one more thing.
Also, Faith has dumped a good chunk of her recent acting out upon the trauma of Adam walking around Genoa City. Mommy’s precious little girl would freak if she learned they were hanging out behind Faith’s back.
A Friend In Need
Adam needs her, 18% shrug, and Sharon has always been a sucker for being needed. And a sucker for Adam. That’s a heck of a combination. Throw in her gratitude for his saving Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), not to mention her belief in his innocence, and you have a perfect storm for Adam pulling Sharon back into his orbit.
Caught Up
A last-place 14% of the audience knows that Sharon is going to go ahead and do this, and all you hope is that she’s smart enough to not get caught. Adam’s freedom isn’t worth her losing her marriage and her daughter’s trust. She can be a good Samaritan, but a stealthy one.
Spy on Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) if you must, but wear a floppy hat or something. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
