How Far Will Victor Go To Get Rid Of Arturo On The Young and the Restless (YR)?

When Nick found out that Nikki was getting horizontal with Arturo (Jason Canela), the guy Nick (Joshua Morrow) is paying to make his buildings vertical, he was one worried The Young and the Restless (YR) man.

He was worried about his project getting off schedule, he was worried about Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) getting hurt… and he was worried about Victor (Eric Braeden) getting wind of the situation.

Victor, like the Duke in Moulin Rouge, does not appreciate other people touching his THINGS. And Nikki is still his wife–even if they’re sleeping in separate bedrooms. And she sneers every time she sees him.

What will Victor do if he finds out? Let the past be a mirror to the future!

Oh, Rats
When Victor’s first wife, Julia, was cheating on him, Victor had her lover, Michael, imprisoned in a basement dungeon, where he fed him rats and installed a camera so Michael could watch Julia having sex with her husband.

Arturo is a handyman. He might be able to break out….

Money Talks
But this is a kindler, gentler, mellower Victor. The last person he wanted to disappear, he used a combination of blackmail and money. Victor helped Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) fake her own death, and he gave her and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) money to relocate to Seattle with Bella.

Arturo has skills. He could set up shop almost anywhere else in the world. Especially if there’s a tidy nest-egg involved.

Third Party Heard From
But what does Arturo want? Is this thing with Nikki just a fling, or is there a long-term plan? And might Arturo surprise Victor by refusing the pay-off and standing up to The Mustache?

Will he throw his lot in with Nick (Joshua Morrow)? The Newman scion is always looking for new and exciting ways to piss off his dad….
