There’s a new couple on The Young and the Restless — again!
Abby (Melissa Ordway), whose last two relationships included a tech guru with a sideline in pimping (and murder) and a smug journalist who cheated on Sharon (Sharon Case) with her ex-sister-in-law, is dating Arturo (Jason Canela), master contractor and one-time Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) boy-toy.
It’s a match made in… Genoa City. (Did we mention that his only slightly shifty brother has just popped into the picture?)

No… By a Nose
It was close, but 51% of the audience is fine with the amount of Abby and Arturo you’re seeing now – and could live with seeing even less. Sure, they’re both pretty, but, so far, we’ve been given very little reason to care about this couple.
Abby got jealous when Arturo danced with Summer (Hunter King). They got past it. Abby got jealous when she found a bra in Arturo’s couch.

He explained it was his sister’s. They got past it. Now, Arturo is being close-lipped about what went down between him and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). They’ll likely get past that, too.

Missed It By That Much!
On the other hand, an awfully close 42% of you are eager to learn more about Abby and, especially, Arturo. Their pairing seems so nice and normal, no major drama, just two nice people getting to know each other in a realistic manner. That’s refreshing.
Sure, most people’s boyfriends didn’t use to service their stepmother, but now Victor (Eric Braeden) knows – and he promised Abby he won’t keep harassing Arturo about it. Of course, now that Abby has “betrayed” Victor by leaving to work with Nick (Joshua Morrow), all bets might be off.
