There’s plenty of drama on The Young and the Restless (YR) this summer, especially in the Newman family.
Victor is going around disowning people, Nikki is leading Jack around by the nose yet again, Nick and Chelsea are keeping secrets from each other, Noah is in the middle of a Tessa/Mariah flirtation he doesn’t even know about, and Sharon has decided to single-handedly tackle human sex trafficking.
Meanwhile, Faith… is at camp.
Should the pre-teen Newman be brought back pronto? Here’s how a whopping 10,000 of you voted!
There’s No Place Like Home
It got down to the wire, but a majority 53% of you came down on the side of Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) making her way back to Genoa City.
Who needs summertime fun like swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and friends, when you can be in the middle of your family’s dysfunctional relationships?
Last we saw Faith, she was throwing a temper tantrum about Daddy Nick (Joshua Morrow) being mean to Grandpa Victor (Eric Braeden). How will she feel about the latest development? (Is her name off the country club guest list, too?)
And if Faith does return, will she still be a little girl?
We’re Good Here
On the other hand, 46% of the audience claims they haven’t even noticed Faith was gone. The child’s whining can get annoying, and she doesn’t really bring much to the table.
Besides, Sharon (Sharon Case) is so busy with her current project, she doesn’t seem to be missing Faith much, either.
And then there’s the danger factor. Dylan (Steve Burton) specifically left Genoa City so as to keep his family out of danger. How would Dylan feel to learn that Sharon is doing a pretty good job of attracting danger herself these days?
And will Sharon’s meddling put Faith in the line of fire?
