While The Young and the Restless has started airing classic episodes, reminding fans of some of the beloved characters and fun storylines from yesteryear, it appears the star Eric Braeden is conjuring up some nostalgia of his own.

On his Twitter page, the man behind Victor Newman sent some love to three of his past and present castmates.
“Two good friends are no longer on the show, KRISTOFF, who passed away, and DANIEL GODDARD, who is a damned good actor and SHOULD BE WITH US!!! Miss them both, along with DOUGIE DAVIDSON, who isn’t on the show ENOUGH!!!”
St. John tragically passed away in February 2019 but his legacy on daytime will not be forgotten.
Just two weeks ago, the show aired a Flashback Friday which featured Neil and Victoria Rowell’s Drucilla on their Caribbean honeymoon.
“Yup, he was so damned natural as an actor and a friend I trusted!!” Braeden tweeted after the episode aired in response to a fan mentioning how nice it was to see St. John back on the airwaves. Davidson tweeted a response to the message as well: “Thank you, my dear friend.”
Eric Braeden’s Tweet was in response to an earlier one by Goddard, who found his character Cane written off the show last November. The actor was also in a somber mood as he went down memory lane, paying tribute to St. John with a photo of him and his former on-screen father-in-law, and sending his best to Braeden, as well.
“My dear friend .@EBraeden I miss u & #YR so very, very much,” he tweeted. “My sincerest respect to u always. RIP my brother [email protected] and my undying love to every [email protected] fan. I don’t know what to say, other than sometimes… life just doesn’t make any sense.” The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
