Love may make the world go around on The Young and the Restless, but break-ups keep the drama coming. These couples may be madly in love now, but which ones will hit their breaking point first? What over 5,000 viewers were eager to tell us:
Sharon (Sharon Case) married Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) knowing she still had complicated feelings for Adam (Mark Grossman). Rey married Sharon knowing that she only ordered him to propose because she was trying to push those complicated feelings to the back of her mind.
Now 55% of you are pretty sure this marriage is about to collapse under its own weight. He’s lucky he got poisoned. That added on a few more weeks before both give up the ghost.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) aren’t built to last, 32% of you dismiss. They’re both on the rebound, Billy from Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Lily from Cane (Daniel Goddard). Their romance seems more like a couple of pals playing around, insisting that this is more than just friends with benefits to justify the relationship.
Once both meet somebody they can be more serious with, this will be just a fond memory – assuming they don’t do any damage first. It’s all fun and games, till somebody wants more than the other is willing to give.
In last place are the 13% who have seen Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) implode before. They definitely expect them to implode again. If Summer doesn’t run off for another stupid reason, if Kyle doesn’t find yet another love of his life (of the month), there is always the woman who gave birth to Kyle’s child – allegedly.
Summer’s insecurity and jealousy will never be able to deal with that. And she is way, way too childish to play step-mommy. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
