On The Young and the Restless, Halloween brought a little casual grave digging (not to be confused with Kyle’s earlier grave robbing, as that was out of season).
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) found out that there was a broken pipe underneath the statue where JT (Thad Luckinbill) is buried.
Sharon (Sharon Case) freaked out about them going to prison, and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was never too comfortable with the idea of her son’s father lying in an unmarked grave anyway.
Then, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) claimed they have no choice: They have to dig up JT’s body.
Nikki hired Arturo (Jason Canela) to remove the statue and then to fix the plumbing. But, the events will take place on two different days. Which leaves a night in between.
The ladies of Genoa City are off to shovel! But what will they find? Some thoughts from almost 7,000 viewers!
Nothing To See Here
It’s a landslide! A whopping 95% of you fully expect JT’s grave to be empty. This either means that JT wasn’t really dead after Nikki smacked him over the head and Phyllis did a quick pulse check.
Or he was dead, and somebody else saw the Gang O’ Four bury him, then dug JT up… for their own purposes.
Hey, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) has been awfully curious about JT ever since he came to Genoa City. And there’s that blackmailer, too. Could this leak all be a clever plot to out the culprits?
Everything Is as It Appears
And then there’s the tiny, trusting 5% which expects that, unlike Grant’s tomb, JT’s grave will feature… JT. He’ll be disgusting to look at and even worse to smell, but he’ll be there.
The ladies can then dig him up and dump him somewhere else. And wait for the next blackmail attempt.
