Hunter King only just returned to The Young and the Restless and now she’ll be gone again before you know it.
The actress is taking a few days off from The Young and the Restless to focus on her primetime sitcom Life In Pieces. As a result, the role of Summer Newman will be temporarily recast.
According to TV Insider, actress Bayley Corman will play the part of Summer for three episodes starting Monday, October 1.
But don’t get too used to seeing Corman in the role. King will be back in Genoa City on air as Summer starting Thursday, October 4.
Corman will appear in the premiere of All American, a football-themed teen drama, which debuts on The CW on Wednesday, October 10 at 9 p.m.
Summer spent the summer (no pun intended) in a hot front burner storyline as she tried to snag her mother’s man — and failed miserably.
By the time she wanted to pick up again where she left off with Kyle, it was too late, as he had given up on her.
King has won rave reviews from fans as she turned Summer from a good girl to a conniving and troubled vixen upon her return.
