Elizabeth Hendrickson Off Contract at Y&R?

Chloe certainly isn’t the most beloved character in Genoa City, and recently fans of The Young and the Restless have heard rumors that Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) might be on her way out at the CBS show.

Now Soap Central is reporting the news of the actress’s possible departure despite the fact that the show or Hendrickson haven’t officially confirmed anything yet. When she returned to GC last year, she signed a contract for a year, which will be up soon.

There’s a chance that she could stay on as recurring. However, the fact that since writer Sally Sussman’s return to the show Chloe’s storyline has essentially slowed to a stop, doesn’t make it seem like she will be a big player in GC anytime soon.

Because things with Chloe haven’t been tied up yet, it seems like there’s a lot more of her story left to tell. For instance, fans wonder who’s Bella’s dad and will ANYBODY ever know the truth about her “killing” Adam? It’s possible Hendrickson could exit as part of these storylines wrapping up. On the other hand, it’s possible these storylines won’t wrap up with a pretty (ugly?) bow tied on top. Perhaps, GC isn’t ready to know her role in Adam’s death or who Bella’s dad is.
