Most often, actors don’t comment on gossip or rumors, but after a report surfaced about backstage tension at The Young and the Restless, one actress felt the need to go on the record!
Highlight Hollywood reported that there’s feuding going on backstage at Y&R and, as a result, many have speculated that Eileen Davidson chose not to renew her contract with the show to continue playing fan favorite Ashley Abbott specifically due to the abuse allegations
In fact, some rumors said she is one of the actresses said to be filing a lawsuit.
When a fan asked Davidson if these rumors were true, the Emmy-winning star responded it was most assuredly not!
Alas, she is still set to depart the top-rated soap in the coming weeks. However, there’s always the chance she could return, especially since she’s confirmed she has not been abused.
