Ashland set all this up from the start, 66% of you insist. Victor used dishonest means to take Ashland’s company away from him, and now Ashland is doing the same to Victor. Getting Victoria to fall in love with him and make him co-CEO of Newman-Locke is all just part of his devious plan. He couldn’t care less what happens to her next.

Victoria may have been nothing more than an asset at the start, 29% of voters insist, but then Ashland truly fell in love with her along the way. He didn’t expect to. Remember, he was still married to Tara Locke when he first showed up in Genoa City. But Victoria truly worked her way into his heart…eventually.

Ashland wants Newman-Locke and Victoria. A last-place 5% point out that Ashland begged her to run away with him. We’re not sure when exactly he decided he needed her as much as he needed to stick it to Victor, but now we are certain she’s as important to Ashland as all the money he’s preparing to embezzle. Aw, ain’t love grand?
