Does Nate Deserve Devon’s Forgiveness On The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, Nate has made it clear how he feels about the situation: Devon should blame Nate for sleeping with Devon’s girlfriend, Elena is completely innocent. Lily (Christel Khalil) kind of agrees.

Devon (Bryton James) seems to hold them both equally responsible. But how do the fans feel? Do you feel sorry for Nate (Sean Dominic) in this mess? Over 4,000 fans gave us their verdict:

Bad Man

He betrayed Devon, 65% of you decree, and there is no forgiveness for that. Nate should have been thinking about his cousin before he and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) strangely decided to have sex in a room where a kid just almost died. (Hot, right?) Devon should be everyone’s first priority.

Didn’t Nate remember that Devon had suffered a greater loss than any human previously in history when his beloved Hilary (Mishael Morgan) died? Sure, Nate had almost the exact same backstory with a dead fiancée (one who, we presume, he didn’t have an affair while she was married to his father), but his pain is/was nothing compared to Devon’s. Nate hurt Devon. And that is unforgivable.

Good Man

He wasn’t exactly thinking of Devon, 35% of the audience counters, and neither was Elena. Technically, the person cheating was Elena. She was in a live-in relationship with Devon. Nate’s arrangement with Amanda was much more casual.

Plus, it’s obvious Nate had been falling for Elena for weeks. He wasn’t thinking of hurting Devon, he was thinking of having sex in a room where a kid just almost died. (Hot, right?) Not everything is about Devon, and Nate is still family.

You feel sorry that he got caught in Elena’s issues and the problems her relationship with Devon is obviously manifesting. He’s apologized. And he’s been punched.
