Do You Want Nick And Sharon To Reunite On The Young And The Restless?

While worrying over Scott’s fate on The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Nick recently took time to take a walk down memory line. As Scott and Abby’s banter has led to support for them as a couple, might this open a door for Nick and Sharon to finally reunite?

Soap Hub asked Y&R fans if they’d like to see the couple reconnect. Read on to learn the results!

Sometimes You Can’t Go Back
The majority of you, just under 58%, feel that no, you don’t want to see Sharon and Nick reunited. Even though we’ve seen other famous couples on Y&R find their way back to each other time and time again — we’re looking at you Victor and Nikki! — most of you don’t feel that Nick and Sharon need to get back together.

Even when Nick had taken up with Phyllis following Cassie’s death, fans wondered if Nick and Sharon would reunite — especially since Cassie, on her deathbed, predicted that Nick and Sharon would someday have another daughter. Y&R fans know that prediction came true when little Faith was born.

Never Say Never
The rest of you, just a bit over 42%, feel that yes, you do want Nick and Sharon to reunite.

A previous writing regime attempted to explain away a lot of Sharon’s actions (marrying Adam, marrying Victor — things Nick might have trouble looking past) by revealing that Sharon is bipolar.

Since that time, Sharon’s moved on to a relationship with Scott. And if he doesn’t leave her for Abby, they may make a go of it.

What About Chelsea?
Nick’s relationship with Chelsea can’t be discounted. The two found each other after Nick had lost Sage and Chelsea had lost Adam. But there’s not only Chelsea’s past as a con artist, but also her knowledge that little Christian is, in reality, Adam’s son — standing in their way of lasting happiness.

A lot is going to have to happen for Nick and Sharon to reunite — but will it? Stay tuned to find out!
