Tessa’s sister, Crystal, is in a heap o’ trouble just like other young characters on The Young and the Restless (YR) have been in over the years.

Assuming, Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) survives the danger she’s in thanks to the sex ring that has her in its nasty grip, Soap Hub wondered if you would like to see her stick around Genoa City.

You Like Her, You Really Like Her!
Crystal hasn’t been around long. And when she has been on, we’ve mostly seen her giving an impassioned plea to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) or Sharon (Sharon Case), either asking for help or presumably lying that she’s doing okay.

Yet this has been enough for Obenreder to make a positive impression on viewers. About 68% of you voted that you’d like to see her stick around town if and when she’s saved!

The rest of you, a little over 32%, have seen enough to make up your mind — you don’t care if she stays around after this current storyline.

But traditionally, Y&R has a habit of inviting folks to stay for a while, past the initial story that brings them onto the show.

Tricia Cast’s Nina was set for a summer storyline about teen pregnancy and when that was over, she remained on in Genoa City, becoming Cricket’s (Lauralee Bell) pal, the mother of Phillip Chancellor IV, and a successful writer.

Greg Rikaart‘s Kevin is another character who was only supposed to be on for a limited time — long enough to warn Lily and viewers about the dangers of Internet predators.

Kevin did some other dastardly deeds, but he went to prison and redeemed himself, eventually becoming a tech wizard at the Genoa City Police Department.

So there’s every reason to think that Crystal — if and/or when she’s rescued — will stay in town and enjoy further adventures!
