Has life been too smooth lately for Victor and Nikki on The Young and the Restless? Other than the fact that everyone seems to be physically keeping their distance in Genoa City, and all the public spaces are surprisingly empty, life has been pretty normal for Mr. and Mrs. Newman.

As long as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is sticking by Victor (Eric Braeden), and Victor is doing whatever he wants, all remains well. Is the happy couple becoming boring? Do they need a shakeup to their complacency? What almost 5,000 fans share with us:

Steady As She Goes

A majority 67% of you think things are perfect just the way they are. Victor and Nikki have enough to deal with. There’s not just Adam and Billy, there’s Victoria (Amelia Heinle) making any decision she can to piss off Daddy, there’s Nick (Joshua Morrow) back with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

There’s Summer (Hunter King) running off to get married, and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) angsting over her long-ago kidnapping. Victor and Nikki have plenty of fires to put out without having something go wrong in their relationship on top of that.

Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On

A smaller 33% of the audience really enjoyed that time when Nikki suggested to Victor that Adam perhaps wasn’t a saint, that he was responsible for some of his own suffering, and that Victor should put a leash on his son before Adam hurt even more people.

Victor may have stomped off in a huff, but the viewers enjoyed Nikki standing up for herself and her children. This is the kind of shakeup you can get behind.
