Good news Dylan fans — while it appeared that Steve Burton’s final scenes on The Young and the Restless aired earlier this week, the handsome actor tweeted that he’s not finished just yet.
Earlier this week after fans congratulated him on what seemed like his final Y&R scenes, Burton tweeted, “It’s not over yet! More scenes to come!” In fact, in a series of tweets, he confirmed that he’s not done in Genoa City.
What could this mean? Does it mean that after a nice break with his family, the actor will be back portraying Dylan? Or, perhaps it means that he’s filmed more scenes in the current storyline that just haven’t aired yet.
For now, a simple peek at his social media shows that Burton is obviously enjoying time with his family along with his band Port Chuck. Plus, he’s also starting a brand new endeavor with his former General Hospital co-star Derk Cheetwood (Max). Not to mention, he is part owner of Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse, a Nashville barbecue restaurant.
He has an incredibly full life even without working in daytime. However, this tweet is certainly open to interpretation. What do you think? Is he coming back sometime soon? Or, is the storyline simply not finished? Either way, we haven’t seen the last of him yet, which is pretty awesome!
