We haven’t seen much of Ashley Abbott in Y&R spoilers lately. While her brother, Jack Abbott, has been dealing with Kyle Abbott’s mother coming back from the dead and Summer Newman Abbott’s mother completely losing what was left of her fragile hold on sanity over it, Ashley was safely hidden away in Paris…doing chemistry things.

She managed to miss Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer’s (Allison Lanier) vow renewal but made it back to Genoa City in time to learn that an unexpected guest at said renewal turned out to be Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)…her ex-husband.
Young & Restless Spoilers: Over and Done
Tucker wanted to see her and was full of gifts and compliments…while Ashley (Eileen Davidson) made it clear she had no interest in sharing the same air as him, much less the same hometown…or anything more.
Ashley also told her daughter, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), that she felt certain Tucker hadn’t returned to town because of some deep, undying love for her. He was just posturing. However, when Tucker once again popped up to run into Ashley, she told him to get lost. They were never, ever getting back together. Could she be any clearer about that?

Y&R Spoilers: Revert To Type
We don’t believe Ashley. And here’s why: For all of her protestations, Tucker hasn’t done anything worse than what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has done in the past. And Ashley once loved Victor. Ashley forgave Victor many, many things. And Ashley kept going back to him. Even after she said she never would.
Tucker is a lot like Victor (even down to the sad, oh, I was abandoned by Mommy backstory). He’s also younger, blonder, and, oh, yeah, not destined to always return to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Ashley won’t be able to resist.
