Summer keeps eyeing up Kyle and working overtime to keep him on her radar. But, is it finally time for this The Young and the Restless diva to move on from her ex and throw herself into a new, hot romance? We think so!
Unrequited Love
On the Friday, March 6 episode, Summer (Allison Lanier) told Jack (Peter Bergman) she and Kyle (Michael Mealor) were nothing more than co-parents these days. While that sounded all fine and good, her actions when Kyle showed up spoke louder than her words. Her face dropped when Kyle confirmed his date with Claire (Hayley Erin) and that told us all we needed to know. She’s still in love…and it’s time she gets over her ex.

It wasn’t too long ago that Summer had convinced herself she was head over heels for Chance (Conner Floyd). Unfortunately, in recent weeks, that sweet love affair seems to be fizzling out fast. Sure, they’re still friendly and even a little flirty but their interacts seem to end there more often than not. If Chance isn’t the one, it’s time for Summer to cut ties and throw herself into something fresh, new, and burning hot!
A Spring Fling?
There are two new men in town who could definitely make their mark in Summer’s world. Just imagine the heat she and Damian (Jermaine River) could have if they ran into each other and fell into a lusty love story. He currently has his eye on Lily (Christel Khalil), but she’s not exactly interested, so why not try Summer on for size? Damian could be just the man Summer needs in her life right now. He’s handsome, mysterious, and his past secrets would keep the drama flowing.
Holden (Nathan Owens) could also be a strong contender. He’s been making eyes at Audra (Zuleyka Silver), but she’s fully and truly committed to Nate (Sean Dominic). Perhaps he should set his sights on Summer and sweep her off her feet. This pairing could stir the pot and light up Genoa City.
The ultimate twist would be a Summer and Billy redux. Their one-time affair was terrible at the time, but would it be so bad now? Plus, if Summer hooks up with Billy, she and Sally (Courtney Hope) would go to war. A love triangle and catfights? Yes, please!
