It’s been a hot minute since the stork visited Genoa City. The last couple to welcome a little one was Tessa and Mariah, and baby Ari is already racing toward toddlerhood. With that in mind, it feels like the perfect time for another Young and the Restless pregnancy bombshell. The question is, who will be next to see two blue lines? And will this bundle of joy bring happiness or chaos?
Possible Parents-to-Be
Several couples could find themselves in the family way sooner rather than later. Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have a deep history, and a surprise pregnancy could force them to confront their complicated past. Could their freshly rekindled love take an unexpected turn into baby number two? That would certainly shake things up!
Then there’s Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope). Their fling had its fair share of sparks but with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) getting closer and closer to Billy, a pregnancy could make things even more complicated. Sally has already experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby with Adam, so would she even be ready for another round of motherhood?

On the other hand, Summer and Chance (Conner Floyd) have been getting cozy again, and a baby bombshell could solidify their romance – or send them running in opposite directions. Can you imagine Summer’s reaction if she learns she’s baking a bun in her oven that doesn’t have an Abbott last name?
Scandalous Baby Twists?
Speaking of Summer’s obsession with her ex, yes, they’ve been on a rollercoaster of breakups and reconciliations, but one moment of passion could leave them permanently connected. A surprise pregnancy would send shockwaves through Genoa City, especially if Kyle is already expecting a baby with Claire! A double-duty daddy storyline would definitely have us glued to our screens!
Of course, nothing spices up a soap opera like a good old-fashioned affair pregnancy. Billy and Phyllis getting tangled up again? That’s a disaster waiting to happen, but it would make for must-watch TV if Phyllis found herself with child. Sure, she’s a grandmother now but who says she can’t also be a new mother again? Wilder things have happened!
