Daniel Romalotti slept with Heather on The Young and the Restless. Sure, some will say it was all Heather’s fault. She threw herself at him. But, Daniel wasn’t exactly tied up and pumped full of Viagra. He responded. He consented. He went with it. Daniel cheated on Lily. But does that mean they are done for good?
Love the One You’re With
Daniel isn’t in love with Heather (Vail Bloom) again. He’s just bored. Lily (Christel Khalil) dared leave town to look after her daughter. What was Daniel supposed to do, sleep alone? (Hat-Tip, Elizabeth Taylor when she lured Eddie Fisher from wife Debbie Reynolds. For younger people, Eddie and Debbie were the parents of Carrie Fisher. For even younger people, they were the grandparents of Billie Lourd. But we digress.) Daniel is still in love with Lily. Heather was just…there.
One and Done
Sleeping with another woman is kind of the universal symbol for I’m dumping the woman I was previously sleeping with. Well, if it isn’t, it should be. Sleeping with Heather is the universal symbol that Daniel is done with Lily, and is ready to play family again with Heather and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
Two Time Loser
Of course, the appropriate thing to happen would be for Daniel to pay the penalty for his actions. And what could be a better penalty than losing both women? First, Lily comes back, finds out that Daniel slept with Heather, and dumps him. Daniel moves on with Heather.

But, oops, either Heather sees how Daniel broke Lily’s heart and decides, maybe this is not the kind of guy I want to be with? Or it turns out all this has been a plot. Heather wanted to hurt Daniel as much as he once hurt her. So she dumps him, takes Lucy, and goes back to Portugal. Alas, poor Daniel, he screwed the pooch yet again. Yeah…that sounds adequately satisfying.
