What REALLY Happened Between Juliet and Cane on The Young and the Restless (YR)? What If THIS Happens?

So much for taking the high road, Juliet!

On The Young and the Restless (YR), Juliet was all set to take her firing with grace… until Hilary got into her head and convinced Juliet she had all she needed for a sexual harassment lawsuit. After all, Juliet did sleep with Cane in Tokyo, right?

Right?

Did They Or Didn’t They?
Viewers never actually saw Juliet (Laur Allen) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) hitting the sheets.

All we saw was Juliet taking a drunk Cane to his hotel room, then them waking up together in the same bed the next morning. Everything that happened in between? We’ve only got Juliet’s word for it.

As a matter of fact, isn’t Cane the one with grounds for a lawsuit? After all, if he was too drunk to give consent, then Juliet is a rapist. That’s how it would work if the genders were reversed.

So, if Juliet insists that they slept together, Cane can go ahead and have her charged with a felony!

But since Cane would never admit to not being able to hold his liquor – or to not being irresistible to women – he’ll probably admit to the sex – eventually, even though he doesn’t remember a minute of it.

First, though, he’ll likely deny that anything happened between them. But what if Juliet has evidence, like maybe a selfie or two? Or a particularly detailed description only Lily (Christel Khalil) will be able to verify?

Caught In the Act
What Cane won’t ever admit to, though, is actually coercing Juliet into sleeping with him. (And he shouldn’t. As we saw, he was too wasted to coerce his legs into holding up his weight.)

Cane’s version of events has her falling at his feet as Cane bravely counters with cries of, “No, no, my beloved wife and suddenly grown children mean everything to me!”

So it’s He Said/She Said. Who will a judge believe? And, who will you believe?
